Join our dynamic team providing event staff services at SaskTel Centre, the premier venue for concerts, sporting events, and entertainment in Saskatoon. Available Positions:
Event staff — Front and back of house event staff, bag checkers/divestors for events at SaskTel Centre; enforcing all building policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
Qualifications:
Experience in a hospitality or entertainment environment is preferred
Ability to exercise sound judgment and remain calm during stressful situations
Must be physically able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
Available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Access Control staff — responsible for managing access security to various locations at SaskTel Centre and will verify and coordinate all visitors, employees, and contractors entering the facility; contacting proper personnel to clear unauthorized guests.
Qualifications:
Effective verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to exercise sound judgment and remain calm during stressful situations
Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat and rain
Must be physically able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
Previous security experience preferred
Available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Video production staff — responsible for providing the best entertainment experience possible for our fans by creating and executing graphics and video for in-stadium entertainment.
Qualifications:
Professional knowledge of video production equipment (cameras, audio and lighting, video switcher, etc.) and a willingness to learn more about different/new systems.
Knowledge of technical directing, replay operations, and camera operations and/or other production equipment
Ability to multitask and complete tasks within deadlines.
Must be physically able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
Available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Production runners — responsible for assisting and transporting event materials to and from the venue or event safely and efficiently. This position is the “go to” person for various production and tour requests to fulfill production needs.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience
Ability to work outdoors and in varying conditions
Must be able to take direction and execute instructions accurately
Must have a valid driver’s license
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
May be required to drive a rented or company vehicle and must meet requirements regarding rental vehicles
Previous experience is a plus
Available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
